“I choose to paint visual narratives about unique characters and places revealing life experiences. I strive to create believable imagery in each painting by convincingly detailing the natural relationship between color and form.
My representational style is the result of early academic training in French Impressionism and later influences from American Realism.”
Chuck is a native of South Carolina who now lives and paints in Ringgold, GA. He studied art under Lamar Dodd at the University of Georgia where he received a BFA degree in drawing and painting. After graduation he served in the US Navy and later began a career in the carpet industry as a designer and product stylist. In 2000, Chuck left the industry and now devotes all of his professional time to his art. He has shown his work in many local and regional venues and currently exhibits in several local galleries. His work is held in private and corporate collections throughout the country.
