Laura Brock crafts clean, elegant jewelry that is pleasing to the eye. Fabricating silver,
semi-precious stones and various other materials, she strives to create precision pieces
that have a casual feel which is no small task.
Laura began creating jewelry in 2007 while working in the computer industry. In 2012
she traded in her key board for a torch after a 30 year career where she worked on
hardware, programmed software and managed projects. This field had been the
perfect preparation for the patience and attention to detail required in metalsmithing!
Laura’s education for her craft has involved much self-study, classes at the studio of
Molly Sharp, John C. Campbell Folk School and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts.
Laura continues to review new techniques and experiment with designs in her studio to
keep her work interesting.
