Lee Glascock is a native to Chattanooga, Tennessee where she currently works and resides. She started painting in the 90’s after being inspired by her watercolorist grandmother. Her first interests were in watercolor and china painting and then evolved to acrylic, mixed media, and jewelry design. She has sold jewelry in various retail and specialty stores in the Chattanooga area.
Lee has studied art under various accomplished artists including Agnes Standifer, Virginia Skipper, and Sandra Payntor Washburn. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science degree in general special education.
Lee is currently a member of MMIA and Tennessee Watercolor Society.
Lee has exhibited art in Dalton, Georgia at Michael’s Fine Arts and Framing, and Harris Arts Center in Calhoun, Georgia. In Tennessee she has exhibited art at Reflections Gallery, Exum Gallery, North River Civic Center, and H Salon. Her paintings are currently on exhibit at Harris Arts Center, North River Civic Center, and H Salon.
Her 2014 painting, Sandy Dunes, was accepted into the Tennessee watercolor Society and then chosen to travel for a year throughout Tennessee.
