A Canadian by origin, Helen lived in South Florida before moving to Tennessee in 1993.  She attended the Corcoran Art Institute and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., Barry College and the University of Miami in Florida.

Twelve watercolor workshops honed Helen's skills.  Her fresh, crisp, realistic botanicals and architectural studies have been juried into state and national exhibitions, winning awards.  Inspired by extensive travels in Europe, Helen's artwork is in private and corporate collections in 28 states and nine countries.

Helen joined the In-Town Gallery in 1999, and is a member of the American, Georgia, National, and Tennessee Water-color Societies, and AVA.  In 2005 she received signature membership in GWS, and was juried into the Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors.  Her work was in the River Gallery, Hunter Museum's Spectrum, and Memorial Hospital's Art for Healing Gala, the Greater Chattanooga Artists' Series, and the Dalton Festival of Art.
