MARIAN KERN Growing up with a mother who loved creating beautiful
things out of cloth and fiber helped launch Marian Kern into the wonderful world of beads.
She has been making one-of-a-kind beaded jewelry out of semi-precious gems, hand-crafted
lampwork beads, pearls, silver, gold, and seed beads for the past 9 years. After
being a financial administrator for a government agency for most of her working life, and
wanting to get reacquainted with the right side of her brain, Marian began taking courses
in silversmithing. However, in 1997, Marian
and her husband sold their home in Since that time she has taken many beading workshops from nationally known beading artists. Marians work has been shown in several galleries in the Southwest, and was featured in the annual state-wide Arizona Designer Craftsman juried show. She also enjoys teaching and has taught several beginning and advanced beading classes. Available for commissions |
