“I work in my mountain-top studio creating custom-designed jewelry with precious metals and semi-precious stones. My work includes distinctive woven chains, semi-precious stone necklaces, and one-of-a-kind cast pieces of jewelry.

My hand-woven chains are made with 22K gold, pure silver, or electrum following the ancient Etruscan style. My cast pieces are created using the lost wax method. Necklace designs are created by combining semi-precious stones, pearls, gold or silver beads, or cast pieces in aesthetic combi-nations that are both distinctive and original.”

Eleanor has studied ancient jewelry design, chain weaving, granulation, and enameling under Jean Stark, one of the founders of the Kulick-Stark Institute of the New York School of Ancient Jewelry. She also studied reposse and metalwork under John Cogswell of SUNY in New Paltz, NY and formerly of Parsons School of Design.

She has displayed work in varied juried exhibitions and shows including Artstravaganza, Spectrum, Golden Isles Arts Festival, Creative Arts Guild Festival, and Four Bridges.

As a professional jeweler, Eleanor is a member of the Florida Society of Goldsmiths, Georgia Goldsmiths Group, the North Carolina Society of Goldsmiths, the Society of North American Goldsmiths, and is a member and former president of In-Town Gallery.
